We're going to WDW in December; we're leaving for home on Dec. 19, which is our wedding anniversary. Since this trip was just planned kind of last minute, I didn't make any dining reservations except for our Candlelight Processional package. I thought since our anniversary falls on our last day at Disney, our plane leaves at 1:30 pm, I thought I'd try for breakfast at Ohana, since we're staying at the Poly. Of course, there's no availability. So I asked about 1900 Park Fare, and no luck there either. Any suggestions? Since we'll probably be leaving for the airport with ME around 10:30 and we can't wander too far from the Poly that morning?

Thanks in advance.

What about Chef Mickey's? It is a quick monorail ride from the Poly, and it gets great reviews for breakfast. It is popular though so there may be no availability, there is the also the Whispering Canyon Cafe (no characters) at the Wilderness Lodge which is also nearby...goodl luck!

I second Chef Mickey's - on our recent stay at the Poly, we went to Chef Mickey's on our departure day morning, and it was a lovely end to our trip.

However, if there's no availability there, try the Kona Cafe! We enjoyed the Tonga Toast and the pineapple-macadamia pancakes and the coffee... it's also quieter in the morning than Ohana seemed to be.

Have a BLAST at the Polynesian!! :goodvibes

I would imagine getting Chef Mickeys would be pretty difficult if 1900 and Ohana are already full. I'd try for Kona, Grand Floridian Cafe, or The wave. Since the Wave is new it might be easier to get

I agree with the poster who suggested Kona. We had breakfast there on our anniversary trip. It's right next door to Ohana and the food is wonderful! The tonga toast is to die for and the pineapple-macadamia nut pancakes are great too!

Thanks. I made res. for Kona and per the CM's suggestion, I'll keep checking for cancellations for Ohana.

We believe Kona is the best place for breakfast at Disney.

MickeyNicki - Thanks for the pictures. :) I am going to Boma for my last day breakfast. Looks like it's going to be a good one.

:woohoo:

Can you take a launch to WL? WCC for breakfast is a hoot and the food is
great and abundant! Congrats!
