If you could pitch a cheap idea to Chapek to improve the parks, what would it be? I would love to see them use the theaters at Soarin for both versions. That would give him two rides for the price of one, so he wouldn’t have to build a new one. I think there’s a way we can use his cheapness to improve the parks. lol :teeth:

Do little things to update attractions without necessarily changing the heart of the ride:

- the screens in Voyage of the little mermaid : Philharmagic - this is Disney not six flags with those awful screens.

- Tianas palace should have been in disneyworld it’s without a doubt the best restaurant on the Disney crusie in terms of fun and atmosphere.

- Do something different with Journey into Imagination, please.

- Dinoland USA needs a rehab it’s a mess and really takes you out of the theme of the park a kids area could have been done so much better.

- Make being a pass holder feel special and exciting it feels like nothing.

I would love be if they added more variability to some of the screen based attractions ... Like the do with Star Tours. Such as Soarin' or even Philharmagic: create a few more scenes and then randomize which ones you get. Will add new life to those rides and add more re-ridabilty

May seem minor, but more open spaces in the parks! Something to spread out crowds and give some places for people to relax, toddlers to play with real trees and shade/seats. Use the area to clear land and give a cheap update while waiting to potentially further develop into attractions. For example, the area of TRON for all these years could have been a big Tomorrowland play area with views of the speedway, kids play areas, tables, seating, trees, etc...

I've always thought that. With all the land Disney owns, why not spread out? Totally agree with creating green space where you can go and relax from the crowds and let the little ones run around.

Agree that the screens need replacing on Philharmagic and Soarin... not up to Disney's standards. AT. ALL. And fixing the screens in my mind would be a "cheap" update. It's almost embarassing. I haven't noticed FOP needing updating. I love Dinosaur but the rest of Dinoland is pretty much a cheap fair like atmosphere. Of course Journey Into Imagination needs MAJOR help - just put it back like it was in the beginning - surely that wouldn't break the bank. Make park hopping free - it's ridiculous to pay for park hopping. And, parking at the resorts - ridiculous. I think that's getting away from the subject a bit, but still.... c'mon now!

I have one more - put test track back to the original. The current one is cold and watered down. I liked the original theme of the test track with the team in the preview room. It was more of a cohesive story. the actual ride feels like a bunch of blinking signs in a warehouse... so watered down. Test Track used to be one of my favorites but I skip it 95% of the time.

When fastpass returns, allow off-site guest the ability to pay for the 60 days booking window that resort guests enjoy. Yes, I went there.

Super quick way to make a buck, plus encourage more offsite guest ticket sales.

Or, simply introduce a paid fp system across the board. Sacrilege, I know...

That reminded me of couple related to DVC that would be quick cash grabs:
-Give DVC resale members an opportunity to pay a sum of money to convert to a blue card
-Offer extensions on 2042 resorts (OKW at a minimum as they already did it prior)

Restructure the line toTomorrowland Speedway so guests within a party can race against each other. All it would take is a bit of reorganizing, add a start and a finish line, and maybe a stop light. Or they could add the old Mickey’s and Minnie’s houses from Toonland to make it more interesting (and say it is in Fantasyland).
