Looking to bring home sugar free candy as souvinears for my family, are there places with a large selection of sugar free (bagged/packaged) candy?

Thanks :)

I don't know about sugar free candy in particular, but your best bet for a big candy selection (including sugar free items) will be the Confectionary in Magic Kingdom and Goofy's Candy Company in Downtown Disney

Goofy's Candy Company has a couple of sugar free varieties in the bagged candy. But if you are taking them back for diabetics, be aware that the carb count for the sugar free gummy bears is higher than the regular gummy bears. My husband thought he was doing me a real favor and bought me the sugar free kind one trip! I traded them in for regular.

You will find some sugar-free candy around WDW, but I wouldn't put the words "large selection" next to it.:earsboy:

oh I'm so glad you said this. People always try to give my son this crap..and it causes....crap. :lmao: Especially with little kids it really causes tummy upset due to the sugar alcohols, and for people who use insulin (all type 1's and some type 2's) it's just not worth it, they still have to take insulin and it still causes plenty of blood sugar problems. In fact, regular candy causes a far more expected outcome than sugar free.

You're welcome.

I totally agree.. My DD is type 1 and people are always trying to give her sugar free stuff. All sugar free means is that it does not contain refined sugar but it can contain sugar alcohols or fruit juices to sweeten. They often have more carbs than normal candy and as you said.. it often does not agree with the person eating it. We stick with regular stuff....

The Werthers candy store in Epcot/Germany has a selection of sugar free hard caramels in varying flavors.
