Is it okay to wear those higher suede boots with a little fur on the top when there isn't any snow on the ground? These come up right below the knee. I bought these really cute boots at Macy's last week for our Colorado trip. Everyone had them there so I fit right in! They are also very toasty. Today I am getting ready to do some grocery shopping and I slip on my boots. It is freezing here but no snow. As I'm getting ready to leave a DHL guy comes knocking at my door to delivery a package. I open the door to get it from him and he looks right at my boots and then at me! He looked at me as though I was crazy! Now I'm thinking it might be really weird to wear them here when there is no snow. They aren't waterproof but I did think I could wear them all winter in the cold. Does anyone wear them like this or am I a fashion dud? LOL!

Sure, wear them. Plus they're a nice reminder of your Colorado trip! :goodvibes

The look was probably more along the lines that you were wearing warm boots like that in the house. That would look a little odd. Those are the boots that aren't actually made for winter, but for fashion. Wear them!

Thanks all! I ended up chickening out this time. My son came home and gave my boots a weird look! I will definitely wear them out next time and ignore all the lookers! LOL!
