Suckers, Lollipops or Taffies?

What do you call them?

I've always called them lollipops, but I remember my grandmother referring to them as "taffies."

I've also heard them called "suckers" on TV.

What do you call them?

Suckers - except for those big swirly ones, those are lollipops. I never heard them called taffies before.

Which brings to mind the all-important question - how many licks does it take to get to the middle of a tootsie pop?

I never heard anyone else but my grandmother call them "taffies."

Lollipops. Never heard them called "taffies" until we moved to the Philadelphia area and I thought the person was talking about salt water taffy.
