What do you call them?

I've always called them lollipops, but I remember my grandmother referring to them as "taffies."

I've also heard them called "suckers" on TV.

What do you call them?

Lollipops! I'd never heard of "taffies" before!

Suckers or blow pops (because those are the suckers I prefer;)).

I love blow pops, cherry. In fact, I think I'll get one now.

Suckers - except for those big swirly ones, those are lollipops. I never heard them called taffies before.:D

Which brings to mind the all-important question - how many licks does it take to get to the middle of a tootsie pop?;)

You know, I've tried counting, but gave up.

I never heard anyone else but my grandmother call them "taffies."

Maybe it was a thing of the past?

Lollipops. Never heard them called "taffies" until we moved to the Philadelphia area and I thought the person was talking about salt water taffy.

Well, maybe that explains it then since my grandmother lived in Philly her whole life!

I'm born and raised in South Jersey and we call them taffies! :D

My neighbors who moved to the burbs from Philly call them taffies.

Lollipops.
BTW I have a tootsie pop counter, but it does not work to well.
