I had wanted to be Ariel...but the costume wasn't very good quality...and I wanted to be a princess that I looked like. So...Belle it was! I LOVE the Alien costumes. Where did y'all find those?? Alright, so I got sidetracked and haven't been on in a while but am now all caught up again!!

FOTLK: Wow...let me tell you, you're not the only one who cries (I sometimes tear up when it comes on my ipod... ) and my ultimate dream job right now is to be that bird (funnily enough, I'm also actually scared of birds!) Hopefully they'll have auditions sometime relatively soon for it, who knows!

I haven't done ITTBAB at all, and am pretty sure I never will, just after all I've heard about it, so good on ya for doing it!

I love all the pics from Epcot at night, and with no one in them!! One of the best things about either early breakfasts, or late dinners, practically empty park pics!

Chapter 26- "I am Going to Sit on This Turn-Style Until They Let Me In!"​

July 28th, 2011​

Hey everyone! I am SO sorry about my hiatus from the DIS, but between work, school, and getting into tech week for Grease, I simply have had like NO time to myself. At all. But today I had a nice day off, and NO practice or work! I know, it's a miracle. So miracle update here we come!!

The next morning Mickey called and woke us up at 6:45 A.M., and we were at Sassagoula and ordering our breakfast by 7:30! I'm tellin' ya, we were MOVIN' this morning! I had places to be!!

Mike ordered himself a nice bounty platter, from which he gave me the Mickey Waffle! BONUS!

Dave just got some fresh fruit from the waffle station, which was really delicious and fresh!

I had a croissant and peanut butter, which was super yummy and flaky!

After we ate, we headed right down to the bus stop where a bus came within two minutes! Score!

Now I haven't told you where we were headed...but does this give you a clue?

That's right! We were headed to Hollywood Studios!!

We got there at exactly 8 A.M., except the park didn't open till 9! That means that we were basically the first people in line for rope drop!!

Seriously, though, we were. I sat ON top of the turn-style until they let us through at about quarter to 9. My name is Kristen and I am a Disney Commando.

And here's Mike with his brand new shirt that he bought at AK the day before. We took this picture so Katie could see that he is a faithful young chap, as we all know!

We passed the time at the turn-styles chatting about our plans for the day with the CM named Jeff who thought I was hilarious for dragging my Dad and my brother to a park an hour before rope drop. He told me that Disney needs people like me working there.

WELL THANKS JEFF, DID YOU KNOW THAT'S MY PLAN FOR LIFE?

Whelp, now ya do! He made my day with that one.

Pretty soon they let us through to the Hat, where the official Rope Drop Spiel was about to take place!

Ya'al know me and my park icon onslaught-of-photo mania.

As you can see, Mike isn't fully awake yet.

Poor guy.

Uh-Oh. Here comes the onslaught!

Pretty soon we counted down, had our film-debut moment, and we were off!

Of course we headed straight to Toy Story Mania first!

We got in the stand-by line and walked right on the ride!

Mr. Potato Head welcomed all of the first guests of the day!

I LOVE tinkertoys, seriously they are so awesome! I want this in my house. If only. And that cloud wallpaper. Don't even get me started. That's probably the most iconic wallpaper EVER. It's so freaking cute!!

We rode in this car:

And Mike beat me. Dang it. He's a beast at that game, and I'm pretty decent myself, but he is just SO good! It's his all-time favorite ride though, so I suppose he deserves to win. He absolutely LOVES it. I swear when he gets into the ride vehicle it's like he's 6 years old again. So precious.

Afterwards, we got some Fastpasses so we could ride again later and headed out of Pixar Place and onto the next fun adventure!

I love Midway Mania too. Best ride ever. I wish I could ride it all day. And I will try next week! You or your brother wouldn't want to share you Midway Mania strategies would you? My sister says she knows a "cheat" but that she will not share it with me as she plans to win if we ride together. Which means that I will lose at my favorite ride.
But, I can't stay sad! I am going to Disney on Saturday!!!!

Maybe I'm just too emotional, but I teared up when I read about your childhood memories of eating cracker jacks at Casey's. This is why I will raise my children on Disney World!

UGH TOUR GROUPS. The bane of my existence. Even in pink they're frightening.

Okay don't sue me for copyright infringement, but one of your pictures of the castle is now the background on my computer.

Ahh, the military park hoppers. I know those well. Such a glorious mixture of having a blast and knowing that you're saving money!

Hmm...any tips...I'd say don't just shoot randomly but try for the 500-2,000's and the bigger values. They're not as hard as they look. And just have fun!
