When I go to Subway I usually get a deli round sandwich. The past three times I have gone to Subway at different stores they tell me they don't have them. At first I thought they were just all out of the bread, but it seems like they aren't making them anymore. Anyone else eat the Deli rounds from Subway and having a hard time finding them anymore? I think they should take them off the menu if they don't sell them anymore! Just wondering if anyone else has run into this!!

Thanks.

No. They are not kid's sandwiches they were just called "deli round" sandwiches! I liked them cause they were low calorie and low carb sandwiches!

I haven't been there recently so I don't know if they still make them or not.

floridaminnie- I do believe that is the same bread that they use for the kid sandwiches too. I had a boy friend many moons ago who worked for subway and that's what they used.

My ds used to get the deli rounds in his kids' meal, but the last few times he's gotten the kids' meal, they've given him a 6" white. I just thought they were out each time.

I got a deli round sandwich for lunch yesterday -- I usually get one from there 3 days a week. I hope they don't stop making those, I like them much better than the 6 inch sandwiches!

How in the world did that "looking for a deli round sandwich" get written under my user name? I didn't put that there??????

birdiesunshine----it got there because we have "tag fairies" here on the DIS who like to post little "tags" under your user name based upon things you have posted. It's all in good fun and it's exciting to get one!!! :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Word has it....the Tag Fairies are out in full force these days...tagging away day and night!!! Watch what you say....

Birdie,
They are only used for kids meals here, sorry. Maybe they are doing away with them. I mean, it seems like they have about 20 bread choices these days, I think they should have stuck with just white and wheat, JMO :D

They still have them at the 2 near my apt....I needed sandwich trays for graduation and I thought those would be good to use...BAD idea! They charge full price for each of those little sandwiches on the tray! What a rip off! The tray with the cut up pieces was SO much cheaper....

The few times my DD has gotten the kids meal and they were out of the round they took a 6 in and cut off the end?? Now why in the world would they cut of the end and then have to throw it away, instead of just making it a full 6 inch?

I had a deli style tonight for dinner! So my Subway still has them, BUT, they seem to be franchised as they pick and choose which sales they all have... you know? ONe closest to me has even started serving breakfast! Haven't noticed another one doing that quite yet.

I hope you find one with your sandwiches again. I really like them = and they're cheap!

They WERE??? Did they say they were? I thought only the wraps were low carb at Subway?

I live in Japan with no car. I only take trains, buses, and subways. So when I saw the title of this thread, I thought, "Well, I know a little about subways, so I can probably help out!"

Heh, heh...

Thanks for all the replies. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only person in the world that ever ordered the deli rounds!!
Also, thanks for letting me know about the "tag fairies" that was driving me nuts wondering how that got there.
