When I first came across this board a few months ago I was quite impressed by the "DISigns" I saw. The more I looked however, the more it sparked a challenge in me to see if I could come up with some that were of the same quality. I used to create posters, letters, programs, etc. for the different things my daughter was involved in, but she's in college now and I was looking for another outlet for some creativity.
What's great about this board is the "DISigners". I get new ideas from looking at the designs, and hopefully I'll get some constructive criticism on ways to improve. I already used one of the ideas I found here by grabbing a color from the graphic to use on the border.
The desire to come up with new ideas and designs really challenges you to explore the capabilities of your software (I've been using Paint Shop Pro for years). I'm looking forward to more designing and learning. I've already posted a few of these out there for specific requests, but the rest are new.
My signiture has a link to my Smugmug galleries. Feel free to use any of them on any project you like.
Instructions for getting DISigns from SmugMug:
The individual galleries display with a thumbnail index to the left and a larger "preview" of one of those images on the right. 1st) Select your image from the thumbnails on the left. This may involve moving to another page. Once the larger image is displayed to the right, you can move your mouse over that image and a sub menu will appear. From that menu you can select larger sizes to view. From there you should be able to right-click and "Copy" the image to your clipboard from where you can insert it into another software product. You can also "Save Picture As" to save it directly to your computer. Now you can use it however you like.
