What happend to Alien Encounter? When I was there last year the signs were all down the ride was closed. I am getting ready to head down there with the family and I just remembered it was closed.

Does anyone know what happened?

What do they plan to do?

Alien Encounter is going to become Stitch's Great Escape opening (I think) in Sept '04.

They actually closed Alien Encounter? My husband loved that "ride."

what's the new attaction with Stitch about? My son loves Lilo and Stitch--we're going the last week on Sept.

The stitch ride is going to be similar to Alien. Just more family friendly, alittle more tame. I for one am excited about the new attraction. However, I know the loss of Alien is going to be strongly missed by some.
