No idea about AIM. I don't really know how to get that one, even though everyone else has it. I think you need AOL or something, correct me if I'm wrong, so I just use MSN.

You need a hotmail account.

MSN is free but I'm not sure if that many people you know has it. AIM and AOL seem to be pretty popular these days.

AIM is absolutley free. AOL is a monthly fee. I'm pretty sure they were joking about AIM being $50/day. Just go to the website and download it; you're done.

I don't know why their paying for AIM because its all free here.
