Stupid question of the day

Because I am really bored, I am starting to work on our packing lists for our December trip (plus I am overwhelmed with the whole carryon, checked, take into the park bags). My stupid question is can I fly with these things either in checked or carryon luggage (had an experience with 3 bags of chips exploding the last time we flew :rolleyes1)--
Crayola markers
Gerber graduates meals (the ones in the little trays)
juice boxes

TIA

I have flown with markers in carry on and juice boxes in checked. I put the juice boxes in 3 layers of zip lock bags just to be safe.

Sorry, not sure about the Gerber.

Did you look into shipping a box down? I'm seriously considering for this trip. I lucked out and received a sample of frozen food to test and in came in this great 20" x 20" styro box, inside a cardboard box, so perfect fit. We usually use a collapsible cooler with ice anyway. From my estimates on usps it will cost the same as having to pay for my checked bag.

If you are going to use a cooler, it might be worth looking into a packaging store at what they sell to ship frozen goods, pack the food in the cooler, in a box, then you have your cooler all ready and more room in your luggage. Not that a collabsible cooler takes up a whole lot of room :)

Anything that is sealed has the potential to blow!

The markers should be fine but I'd keep them in a baggie. I think the graduate meals would be okay too.

I would be concerned over the juice boxes, but I've never had personal experience with them on a plane.
