Stupid question about the YMCA

I'm trying to find an aquatic exercise class to help with my psoriatic arthritis. The YMCA is closer to me than the YWCA. Can women take classes there?

Here we don't have a mens and women's Y any more. We have a "family y"
Why don't you call and ask? I don't think that they will think it is a stupid question.

We have all family Ys here, too, and they're fantastic!

I say just give 'em a call and ask. Ten to one they get that question every day.

Absolutely! I don't even think we have YWCAs here anymore. Although if your area still has them, maybe they are still separate. I'm sure you could look on their website and find out for sure.

Here the YMCA's are family centers, and the few YWCA's still around are for women and children only.
