So my ipod touch came in today. I just plugged it in about 10 min ago I have aprox 13 hrs of music and 15 apps to sync. How long will it take? LOL I know stupid question....
I just wondered if I can go to bed while it is syncing or should I just wait up if it will only be an hour or so. Thanks!

It shouldn't take very long at all. Maybe half an hour, tops; of course, all of this is somewhat dependent on your computer's available resources, so before you start syncing, kill all other programs you have running and make sure iTunes is all that's up and going. Then you should be good. :thumbsup2

I agree with the PP, shouldn't take any time at all. :) Seeing as you're not syncing movies to it especially, since THAT is where the time goes.

Good luck with the iTouch! I have the classic video one, love it, and will be getting a Macbook soon. Can't find any better electronics than Apple ones, to me. :)

...and even with movies, as long as you have a processor with decent power it still takes almost no time at all. Last night, I synced a 2-hour, 1.36 GB movie to my iPhone in maybe 2 minutes, if that. And that was without shutting anything else down on my computer first; I had U-Torrent, among other things, open, as well as Firefox with 7 different tabs, Word, Excel, and Handbrake (which was also converting a video file at the same time). It's crazy how fast these things are these days.

You must have a way better computer than me... it takes up to thirty minutes for me to sync one movie with only iTunes open. Why I usually don't put them on there all at once.

Mine's a newer HP laptop, yeah...4GB of RAM, 500 GB hard drive, and a Core 2 Duo processor. I love it. :)
