Stupid cat

DH's cat (he always belongs to DH when he's annoyed me ) has just tripped me over. As a result, I managed to crack my nose off the door frame and my nose is now a nice shade of blue (my eyes are going that way too). Poor DS is crying more than me - I think he was convinced there was gonna be blood and he hates the sight of blood.

Wonder who's gonna believe the old 'I walked into a door' line at work tomorrow

You have my sympathies, ours is a complete nut job too so I know how stupid they sometimes act charging around the home like whirlwinds getting everywhere they should not be and being pests near feet especially when your in doorways or on the stairs. But that said you gotta love 'em even with a complete lack of common sense, just hope you mend quickly and not too much damage done

I remember tripping over, and blacking my eye, when I was about 5 months pregnant with DD (22) It was just pregnancy clumbsiness but I doubt that many of my patients believed me......................

My big black and white tom cat Socks (the one in the picture) ran in front of me 2 days before I went to Florida last year, trying not to kick him I bashed my foot so hard on the door frame I broke one toe. I wouldn't have minded but 10 years earlier I did the same thing to the same toe with another cat!!!!!!!!!!!!

Snap I've done that too broke 2 toes so now I try not to hurt myself or the cat but doen't always work I still catch something, but not the cat ours too is black strange or what??

I know how painfull broken toes are i broke mine chasing my 18 month old DD into our old kitchen, my foot went one side of the table leg and my little toe went the other side! How are the eyes today Joh? When my DM fell out of our patio doors and blacked her eyes she didn't go out for over a week incase anyone thought my DD had hit her!!!!!

I know how painfull broken toes are i broke mine chasing my 18 month old DD into our old kitchen, my foot went one side of the table leg and my little toe went the other side! How are the eyes today Joh? When my DM fell out of our patio doors and blacked her eyes she didn't go out for over a week incase anyone thought my DD had hit her!!!!!

TBH, it's not as bad as I thought it was going to be. I have a very blue nose, very swollen at the sides. Have already had several comments about 'walking into doors' and 'domestic disturbances' Still very sore but hopefully should have gone down a bit by the end of the week.

Is the cat still in the dog house??Or is it forgiven ?? hope the bruising goes soon try some arnica cream if you can usually available at the chemist it really helps take the swelling down and reduces the bruising nicely
