My dd had some delicious stuffed mushrooms that I would love to try to duplicate for her. They were stuffed with some type of cheese starting with a "B" not blue and not brie. She cant remember the kind of cheese and Im going crazy trying to find a recipe!

Hoping for some ideas! TIA! :flower3:

There are so many cheeses that start with "B". Was its sweet, tangy, sharp?

Cheeses that start with B

Thank you greeneeyes for the reply- Im not sure just what it was that DD enjoyed in the stuffed mushrooms- I tried making some yesterday with Blue and then with Brie combos but..... YUCK! I certainly did something wrong! :rotfl2:

As for now I think I will have to scratch stuffed mushrooms as an appy for tomorrow! :)

But thank you again for your help. :)

We usually stem and clean the mushrooms then mix some fine fresh breadcrumbs with fresh parsley, salt and pepper and Parmesan cheese then add a dash of olive oil after stuffing the caps and broil.

Alouette Cheese works great in this too if you can not find Boursin.

Here is their recipe from the website.

This doesn't meet your request, but I love them anyway.

Cream Cheese
Garlic Powder
Parmesean Cheese
Crab meat (imitation is fine).

Stem and cleam mushrooms, fill caps, cook at 350 about 20-30 minutes, until filling starting to get golden brown.

Sooooo good! and So easy.
