Stuff while in the pool?

Where do older kids who go to the pool on their own put their stuff? I was thinking that they could probably 'pin' the KTTW to their suits if we had it punched (which we will), but I wondered what others did. I suppose if it is punched, no one could take it and charge on it, so maybe it would be safe to leave it on a chair.

I wish they had cubbies at the pool to put stuff.

What do the rest of you do? Do you take a 'beach bag' for them to put their stuff in? How is it handled.

Thanks,
DJ

I'm in my forties and when I go swimming, I put my room key and watch inside my shoes that I wear down to the pool. Then I put my towel on top of my shoes and leave them under a chair. No one has ever taken anything.

If the only thing they're taking to the pool with them is their KTTW card then a pocket in a swimsuit would work. The cards shouldn't be affected by water since they're plastic.

You can also buy those little "water wallets" in the gift shop.

For the bigger things, (towel, shirt, etc.) we always just place it by the pool and keep an eye on it. Of course, we're not kids but I think most non-valuable stuff would be OK.

I wouldn't leave the KTTW card in the open though.

You can go to www.passporter.com (they have a really great Disney Cruise Line guide by the way ::MickeyMo ) and they sell something called a Passholder. It holds not only your KTTW card, but money, pens, etc. They are only $7.95 each plus shipping & handling. They would be great for the parks, too. :earboy2:

They have card holders from our last cruise (in 2004). We are going in 2006 and they will be in Middle School (I have twins), so I figured they could swim by themselves by then. They would only need to take one KTTW just to get back in the room. Maybe I can get one of them to wear swim shorts with a pocket and we can pin the card in the pocket while they just leave their shoes and towels on a chair.

I just wondered what other teens did when they were swimming without parents around.
