Stuff that you absolutely must do when at WDW!

Eat breakfast at Chef Mickeys, and DEFINITELY get a frozen banana at MGM since this seems to be the only place to find them! Used to be able to buy them at the store, but no longer!

I saw frozen bananas at all the parks, I think. I know AK has them.

Ride the monorail, soaking up the atmosphere of each resort on the loop and ride the boats over to FW Campground the first day we arrive. Hearing the boat horns, smelling the dock, soaking my toes in sand, shopping at the Trading Post.

Take a family picture in front of the Mickey flowers in front of the train station. This is very special to see the changes within the family throughout the years...from the time I was little, seeing my children as little one's and now not so little one's. Great pictures that captured the memories of my great grandmother and grandmother on our family trips.

Taking another family pic along Main Street with the Castle in the background.

Illuminations

SpectroMagic and man I miss the Main Street Electrical Parade!

Berry Tart at Kringla Bakeri in Norway and pastries in France

TINALALA Quote:Look into my DH's face and see the happiness and fun he's having - we're not yelling at the kids or rushing off to work - we're all together as a family.

#3 Afternoon Tea, originally at Rose n Crown, now Grand Floridian
#4 ride Star Tours, Peter Pan, TTA, HM, Cinderella's Golden Carrousel, Carrousel of Progress, Spaceship Earth. (We try to do as many rides/shows that are still around from our 1st trip in1988--only MK & Epcot back then & the only ride that hasn't changed in Future World is Listen to the Land)

- ride Peter Pan which is my favorite family ride

I like the post from the parent talking about not rushing off to work or yelling at the kids. That's exactly how our vacations at WDW are, too. Maybe that's why I love going to WDW so much. It's all about FAMILY when we go.

Part 2! :teeth:

-See Illuminations & Fantasmic

-Get atleast one pin

-Buy a Tshirt

-Eat at Germany (except for this upcoming trip, because the food is very heavy and it's going to be too hot for heavy dinners :guilty: )

-Look for Hidden Mickey's

Two more days to go! The 3 year old boy doesn't kow we're going for my birthday. He he he...

Anyway, here is my MUST do list after years of going:

-Get to MK early and hit the bakery for breakfast. Sit at a table on the sidewalk and watch all of the kids come running in. Then do the opposite on the way out and watch all of the kids sleeping on the way out.
-Character breakfast at Chef Mickey's.
-Character breakfast at the Crystal Palace.
-Won't go into all of the attractions to ride. Just get on as many as you can. :)
-Check out many attractions at night as well as during the day to see how different they are.
-DTD for Ghirardeli ice cream and chocolate.
-Early wake-up call--EVERY morning. :)
-Get more excited as the time to leave nears (2 days to go).
-Look for hidden Mickeys.
-Ice cream...early and often. :)
-Ask to ride in the front of the monorail and get your operators license (I've got a few). :)
-Fast Pass your favorite attractions.
-Do at least one tour you haven't done before.

I could go on...
