Stuff not on Room Service Menu

:sad1: We like hot/spicy wings and not breaded.
We thought we where going to be in heaven with with beer, wings, nachos and chips and salsa. :)

The wings were sweeter and not spicy, the last time we went.

Here is a link to the uncrustables site, but basically it is a delicious round peanut butter and jelly sandwich on white bread with the crust cut off and the sandwich crimped shut around the edges.
Smuckers also makes just peanut butter ones, grilled cheese ones and peanut butter & honey on wheat uncrustables.

Thank you for the quick response & explanation! :lovestruc It sounds yummy! Do they make the Uncrustables themselves rather than from a package on the ship? :goodvibes

You can also buy these at your grocery store. In the frozen foods section. Not sure what's by though. Maybe the breakfast stuff? or snack stuff They are kind of in a box about the size of Eggo Waffles box.

For under $10.00 you can buy your own "uncrustable" maker from Pampered Chef. It's called a cut-n-seal. I use mine every day. You can also use pie crust and layer fruit or other filling between them and then bake it. Yummy and very budget friendly. We're going on the plane tomorrow and I'm packing them for my DD to eat.

DH loved the oatmeal raisin cookies. He had me order some and a big glass of milk. :rotfl2:
Of course I ordered chocolate chip and a mickey bar.:rolleyes1 DD didn't want the Mickey bar so I kept eating them. Sometimes I don't know where she came from. How could any kid of mine not like Mickey bars? :confused3 :mickeybar

And yes, you can order a hamburger and french fries at 8 a.m.! DD decided she didn't want to go to topsiders one morning because she couldn't get a hamburger for breakfast. I looked at DH and he said "Well call room service. You've harped on her all week about not eating. She wants to eat. They'll make her a burger." Sure enough, we had a hamburger and fries in record time. :thumbsup2 Gotta love room service.

Maybe this is a silly question but I've read a few other posts on the board that says only concierge level rooms can receive a "hot breakfast." Now I know a hamburger and french fries are not typical "breakfast" items but they are items that have to be served hot. Can rooms that aren't concierge level receive a hamburger for breakfast if they want?

There are no "times" on the room service menu items. You can order any item at any time of the day or night--so yes, you can order a hamburger and fries for breakfast and it will be delivered in about 30 minutes.

Oh, okay! Thank you!

This is an old thread and I skimmed it quickly, but didn't see Mickey Head Rice Krispy Treats listed. I apologize if it was already mentioned on this thread. You can order them dipped in chocolate or plain.

They are "free" through room service or you can buy a box of the exact same thing at the concession stand by the movie theater for around $11.

 Mickey bars are the best!! I had read on a previous post that they were limited or ran out on the last Med Cruise 2007. :confused3

I hope that is not the case for this summer's Med Cruises !!

We were on the TA last month and DH was disappointed the chicken strips were no longer on the room service menu!!!

While you can always go up to deck 9, that's just not the same -- especially when it's really windy or Pluto's is closed.

So we asked for them when we called (4 different times actually! :lmao:) ...but were politely told "NO" each time :sad2:

What is a person to do? Oh that's right, leave it on the comment card! LOL They probably thought we were so weird!!

One night, I wanted to order some sandwiches for me and the kids. I told the lady taking the order that the steak sandwich sounded good, but she said it came with American cheese on it. I told her I didn't really like American cheese, so she asked if I wanted something different. I had it with Swiss cheese and it was delicious! I still won't weigh myself and got back from the cruise almost 2 months ago! Yikes!

I think if there is something you want that is a bit different, they can make it.

We also got soy milk every day, and it was Silk brand in these neat little bottles that I've never seen before. My son had lemonade, and that was no charge.

You can call them and ask what other options are available. It is helpful if you have something in mind!

I love Silk! I am excited about that! Thanks for letting us know!

:goodvibes Someone mentioned earlier on this thread that Room Services has Soy Milk (the Silk Brand) available. Does anyone know if there is Rice Milk (like Rice Dream brand) available? DD is allergic to dairy/milk and has to drink alternatives. Thanks!

This is somewhat off topic but -- what do you do with the dirty plates and left over food from room service? Leave them in the room? Put them in the hall? How quickly do they come to take them away?

Thanks.
