Studios Prop Warehouse without Harbor Attack and Tram Tour??

My DS just wants to slowly browse through the Prop Warehouse to read the prop tags and take some photos. Is there any way to do this without doing the entire Backlot Tour? We've seen Harbor Attack and been through Catastrophe Canyon at least a half dozen times- just want to really get a good look at the props next time.

Bumping because I'd like to see an answer, too. I would love to spend a good while checking out the props. I always want to spend extra time in there after the harbor attack, but my family rushes to the trams with everyone else. I can't remember if I read somewhere that it's OK to wait and catch the tram with the next group, but a way to skip the other parts of the tour altogether would be wonderful.

I don't know for sure but I suppose you could always suffer through the water part to make it through to the prop warehouse. When you're done with the props, you could tell the CM you don't want to finish the ride. On most rides, there's always a way for people to exit before "boarding" so I don't think the Backlot Tour would be any different.

Go to where the tram unloads (by AFI museum) and explain what you want to do and they will let you in without doing the pre show or having to ride the tram

Thanks! That's what we were going to try- was hoping to find someone who could say it had worked for them. We'll give it a shot, but with our luck......... A hundred people could have done it and we'll be the ones who are told "no"!
