We're going March 2010. Two adults, two teens (17 & 13). Can we realisticly sleep four in a studio? Probably would be me & my nephew (17 yo)in the sleeper sofa, & DW & neice (13 yo) in the queen bed.

I guess OKW would be the best choice, as the studio has two queen beds. However, I would really like to stay at AKL, or even BWV.

Yes you can sleep 4 in studio, even at AKV or the other resorts with a QN bed and sleeper sofa.

I have 2 boys and they no longer want to share a bed, so if we stay in a studio or 1 bedroom, we bring the twin sized Aerobed along and 1 sleeps on the pull out and the other on the aero bed. Never had a problem finding space for the aero bed in any studio including the AKV Value size studi.

The AKV (except Value) and BLT 1 bedrooms have a sleeper sofa and chair so you could sleep 4 in 3 beds.

We like to treat family too and will sacrifice a bit of our vacation in order to make it possible for them to come so I completely understand:thumbsup2

Do AKV Studios have sleeper chairs? I thought only the one bedroom and larger units had the sleeper chairs. :confused3

I believe you're correct Chuck. I was looking at it earlier this evening.

I did specify 1 bedrooms (except Value) had the sleeper chair.

We stayed in a studio with our DD and her best friend several years ago at VWL. They were both 16 at the time. Two teenage girls bring a lot of STUFF with them, so it was tight, but we managed. I would think that your 17 year old nephew wouldn't have as much STUFF, so you should be fine.

You know the sleeper sofa in the studio is only double sized, right? That's the width of two baby cribs. You and nephew need to be very close to make that fit. And finding space for a blow up mattress is going to be hard in a studio.

If you must stay in a studio, OKW is the only one that is going to give you any space at all. We don't like to have four in a one bedroom (unless it's OKW) either because it's just too small a space (unless the other two are small children).

We did four of us at SSR in a one bedroom one time (tried to get a two bedroom but the waitlist never came through). Three adults and one 11 year old. It was not very comfortable. We were miserable.

Yes, I'm aware of the double bed. We stayed a Caribbean Beach this past June. Double beds!

OKW is our 2nd choice. I really want to stay at AKLV! We may sacrifice a little space to stay at AKLV.
