Studio or 1-Bedroom for 3 Teens / 1 Adult

Thank you, again, my friends. I'm humbled by your willingness to help. I am not a DVC member; however, I plan to rent points from a DVC member when I have funds available. The AKV is one that I have not considered. I'm not sure why. But, now that I hear from you, I can actually imagine the girls enjoying the animals, especially my camera-buff niece. She has fancy camera equipment and loves to photograph everything. And, who doesn't love animals? I'll have to check out Kidani. I didn't realize the 1-bedrooms will have 2 bathrooms. Where are the best online photos of this new resort and its rooms? Do you have a link to share with me? Thanks!!!!

Here are some pictures of the model rooms for Kidani that I took at the SSR DVC center back in Oct 2007.

DH was most impressed with the master bathroom and separate shower

The master bedroom was also very nice

Plus the extra bathroom off the living area is going to be a huge bonus

For some reason I never got a picture of the sleeper chair But it will be there and shows on the floor plans.

Here is a link to the official WDW map showing the location of Kidani Village in relation to Jambo House, which is the original Animal Kingdom Lodge. Kidani is the area circled by the yellow dots as 'propsed construction'.

Another DIS'er posted these good videos of a 1 bedroom at AKV (Jambo House). In Kidani Village there will be 2 bathrooms. Jambo House 1 beds only have 1 bathroom (so make sure to request Kidani).

The balconies for the 1 bedroom villas are huge...we loved it.

The OP of the videos had a 1 bedroom standard view I believe and got the pool view. Savanna view would cost more points of course.
