Studio Catering Company on Dining Plan?

Is Studio Catering Company a counter service on the dining plan?

I am sure to get an definitive answer from one of you DISers who ate there on the plan or tried to. I called Disney and got a yes I think so from one cast member and a no from another.

I am trying to figure out how to use my CS on my December trip. On our MGM day I need a CS lunch and from all the info here I an guessing I should eat at Studio Catering Company or head over to Epcot for lunch.

We ate at the Studio Catering Co. on the dining plan earlier this month, and it was a CS. We each got gyro wrap, a large bottle of water, and a dessert (vanilla panna cotta). It was really good!

It was on the plan in June, and a hidden jewel in MGM if you ask me! I loved the lamb wrap & the fresh fruit eclair.
