Strollers at Poly Concierge Question

I beleive I've read somewhere that Poly Concierge has strollers available. Is this true? If so, is there an additional cost? What kind of stollers are they? Do they run out? Are they for use only on the Poly grounds or can you take them to the parks? How do I go about letting the concierge staff know we are interested in using one?

Thanks!

I was there almost 3 years ago and then they did. They were free when you stayed concierge. They were molded plastic if I remember correctly (not sure about them now, they may have changed). The strollers were right in the concierge blg lobby. I want to say is all you have to do is tell them at check in. You may want to let them know ahead of time & they will take care of it for you... When I went, I was able to tell them any PS seating & they would arrange it for me. When I checked in, they printed out an itenery for me.

Hurricanes Fan:

When we first contacted the Poly concierge staff I asked about the strollers. It sounds as if it is a jogging stroller (3 wheel type) with little room for storage/packages (alas, they do not have a picture). I ended up reserving the DIS stroller for our time at WDW. If you are not familiar with the DIS stroller, check out:

There are separate threads depending on the time of year you are planning to visit. HTH :D

We have stayed at Poly Conc. many times and please remember that the few strollers that they have can and do break down and can be unavailable. Once when we had "reserved" a stroller w/ Conc., the person stayed on and did not have to return it. I didn't think that the 2 or 3 strollers that the concierge had were all that terrific. My personal advice is to bring your own umbrella type and not rely on the Poly's if it is important. Threehearts

Would you be able to take the stroller that the Poly concierge has available on the bus and monorail? We are bringing one for my young daughter, and thought we would use reserve one of the concierge ones for our older daughter on the days she wanted to use it.

I don't think the weight limit on the concierge strollers was very high. If you have an older child, they may not let you use it.

Ask about using one at check-in. You have to leave a $250 deposit. As the other poster said, they are unreliable. Some were broken or had flat tires. :D

My family stayed Poly concierge in November and used the strollers for a portion of our stay. They don't have many and all were being used when we arrived. 3 days into the trip they became available. They are very nice jogging strollers. They are free and no deposit is required. You can't reserve them so there is a chance you may not get one. We were hoping to use them and had to rent in the parks the first 3 days. It really is luck of the draw!!
