Strollers and CP

There's a parking spot outside the restaurant. No strollers inside.

They start renting strollers even before the park opens...I saw a sign and a CM helping folks rent strollers but it could have been the pre-paid plan where they rent the stroller for the week for a small discount.

Regardless, as soon as the gate opens you can rent a stroller but there will be a line for it. You may have to rent afterwards.

Sorry I wasn't of much help!

Thanks for the quick response! We are still debating whether to rent or bring our own strollers. We will be doing the one day commando MK with 3 yr old twins, so every minute counts!

Thanks again.

momofbgtwins - were taking our 2 yr old twins & are thinking bringing our own stroller is best b/c its light, foldable, has storage, & will come in handy at the airport....can you tell me reasons/advantages you are thinking of possibly renting? :flower: :flower:

poohluvrs - we will be bringing our own strollers to Orlando for all of the reasons you cited. We have BabyTrend Lites and they are FANTASTIC - lightweight, big storage baskets, easy to fold, etc. We use one for each child, and they make it a breeze to get through the airport because our carryons and my purse and DHs backpack fit in the basket.

For some reason DH thinks it would be less of a hassle at MK to rent one double stroller because the kids will probably want to runaround and the double stroller looks like it would be easy for them to get in and out of.

My issue with that is that the twins are dawdlers, and BIG 3 year olds. I don't want to have to carry them from the car to the tram to the monorail to the restaurant, etc.

As you can see, I'm still undecided!

gotcha! DH wanted to rent too but then realized we'd be w/out a stroller in the airport & from the monorail, etc....we dont even use our stroller now that theyre old enough to hold hands & go on errands, but at Disney for a week, I want it, to keep them contained at times they do want to run off!!!Also since we dont use it here, I wont be heartbroken if it gets damaged/stolen at Disney (hoping wont though)!!!ANd though were not budgeting, the $105 rental fees for the 7 days will be saved! :cool1: good luck on your trip :flower: :wizard:

I have twins too, (now 9 yo dd's), but we brought our own strollers when they were younger for all the reasons mentioned. We also now have a 2 yo and are bringing our own stroller. We had to Graco Lite Stride strollers w/our older 2..when we pulled them out, the bottom metal part was rusted. We bought a very similar one for our trip in Aug. Two other advantages of the lightweight strollers are: the canopy. Great for protection from both sun & rain. And the storage underneath (if that's they type you have). I was specifically looking for it this time..it's great for ponchos, water bottles, diapers, snacks all those fun things!
Have fun!
Cheryl

thanks!!!!! we're staying on a monorail resort so hopefully will make it a little easier, and acknowledging the fact that we will be subject to their moods & may not see everything we set out to!! :teeth: :goodvibes

poohluvrs - Good luck on your trip, too! We are staying offsite, and doing MK for one day only. Bringing our own strollers to MK seems like a better plan!

Our twins LOVE Seaworld, so if you have a chance, that might be something your twins would like, too.

Have fun!
