Just wanted to give you guys a heads up what happened to us last March. We rented a double stroller for our 5yr old and decided at noon to go in for something to eat. It had been raining earlier so we left the stroller along with my sons change of clothes. souvineer cups mugs etc and rain coats..also various 5yr old toys in the back of it. We left it just outside the railway station. When we came back out it was gone along with all the other stroller...naturally we assumed it had been moved but we could not find it anywhere..neither could this other man who was hunting for his that was beside ours. I went down to the stroller desk to report it has been stolen and the girl asked me where I had left it...she then told me that they assumed that they were abandoned and took them back in as they needed them beacause they had run out!! I asked her about my things in it and they told me they had trashed them!!! I asked them to get my little boys clothes as it had my little boys fav T shirt in it and they refused saying they dont rake trash. I said I would do it but they wouldnt let me. They sent me over to the complaints part who then denied that they took it back and refused to call the stroller dept to verify my story. They mantained if there was anything if value in it it would have been sent to them. I was P***** to say
the least. No matter what I said they would not budge from saying it must have been stolen..even after what I had been told from the stroller dept.
Anyway...when I got home I wrote a howling letter to Disney about this. About a week later I get a call from some one in management apologising profusely.she had looked into the matter and found out that the stroller manager had been collecting strollers back when he shouldnt have been and not sending peoples belonings to the lost and found. Anyway she assured me it was taken care of and said they would like to make it up to me. She sent my whole family free tickets for the MK for a day and I got a voucher for free t shirt, drinks, popcorn, raincoats etc...I thought that was a really nice gesture from them to do that.
Im still wary about leaving the stroller though when I go back!! I certainly wont be leaving any items of value in it again.

I don't understand why they would think it was abandoned when all of your things were in it? toys, clothes and mugs? I would think that they would only assume one was abandoned if the name plate was out and there was nothing left in the stroller. This just sounds odd to me. Collect them in the rain and then to trash everything? My friend's stroller was stollen a few weeks ago at MK and they bent over backwards for her. They even replaced her souveneirs that she had bought that day when she showed them the receipt.
I wouldnt have left the park until i got my stuff back.
Well i am glad you got some reimbursement.
