Stroller rate increase

WOWZA!

That is just INsane! We rented a double last time, and it was great for the girls at ages 5 and 1.5. This time, they'll be 6.75 and 3.25, and I planned to do a double again. But not that that price! Especially since my little one will likely fight being in it anyway.

So, can we squeeze 2 into one single stroller if the little one sits on the big one's lap?

Wow! I'm glad we don't need the strollers anymore!! We loved the convenience of the double, both for carrying the kids and our stuff, but at those prices, yikes!

But don't think it's not going to affect you if you plan on using Disney transportation. Just imagine the the room on the buses when there is an increase in double strollers being brought from home.

Perhaps its there way of getting people to bring thier own strollers, think of the room that those big purple strollers take up. Why if they had less they could open another store!
31.00 for a stroller a day... its cheaper to buy one.

Ya know, I really hope this blows up in their (Disney) face!!! I hope more people bring their own strollers and stop renting from Disney. Those prices are ridiculous!!! Seriously, shame on Disney. I think about all of the parents that are probably out there and would love to bring their kids to WDW, but look at a price like this and think "no way could we afford to go there". It's shameful.

We did this a couple times when DD6's legs got tired later. She sat down with legs open and straight out and then DD3 sat in front of her with legs barely hanging off the edge. I have some really cute pictures of them all snuggled up together! If only they'd be that loving at home here! I wouldn't do it for all day/every day though......

Wow, great point! Maybe when that happens and they have to use more buses, drivers, gas, etc., they'll reconsider.


Aaaahhhhh! It just came to me (read next part with very sarcastic voice)- The increase must be for the CM they are including to push the stroller around the park for us! Sorry, couldn't help myself! It's just so ridiculous to have such a high jump like that. Honestly, a dollar raise is too much IMO, but $5.00 per day!?!

Oh and I've got another one, the wheelchair rentals are listed at $10.00 and $8.00- so I'll rent that, have DH push me in it and carry DD on my lap! Sounds good for me! (Just kidding, I'd never get one of those and take it away from those who really need it...again, just being very sarcastic because this is so crazy)

I still have a few days left from my last trip- the vouchers aren't stamped with a date. Do you think they will honor them?

This new pricing is outrageous! It will really cut into our souvenir / snack budget.

(with disgust) Gee, maybe they will start charging us for "no expiration date" on our stroller rentals...! like they do with park tickets... another fee on top of these unbelievable rates!!

I too have left over days... I'm cautiously hopeful that Disney will honor them...
