I have searched and searched but I cannot find the answer. My friend wants to buy the stroller that they have for sale at WDW rather than bringing one from home. What is the brand of this strolller? Anyone have any pics?

Thanks,

Joanne

I cannot remeber the brand. But it has a canopy, small footrest, and a storage bag that hangs off the back. It hardly weighs anything and was about $45. That was a year ago though. You can call the hotel and ask to be transferred to the gift shop. They can tell you.

I believe it is a Kolcraft....and the canopy is tiny (it is a favor to call it a canopy!!!).

Look into having a stroller shipped to the resort. Then you can choose what one you like at the price you are willing to pay.

I just ordered from www.albeebaby.com

Can you purchase this at the hotel gift shops? I though it was only available at the park stroller rental areas.

Thanks,

Joanne

We had to buy one last week when someone stole our very beautiful MaClaren Stroller outside of The Living Seas.:sad1: We purchased it at the store by the International Gateway. It was $53 and change with tax. It is red and black. I have seen them in resort stores and by the stoller rental places. The canopy in my opinion is useless. It has to be removed to fold up the stroller or it will fly off at high rates of speed. My DD13 got hit in the head by it. It is light and was ok for a replacement. By the way, guest relations wasn't that helpful with the fact that my stoller was stolen. :sad2:

Are you sure your stroller was stolen and not relocated? They have some hidden stroller parking areas by the Living Seas.

OMG, I will have a complete fit if someone steals my Maclaren stroller next week!!

So sorry that it happened to you.

Yes, I'm sure. After many calls to Lost & Found at Epcot and MK(this is where most things are sent) over a several day period, nothing ever came up. I do have to say I left many items in my stroller that make it desirable for others. I learned the hard way to clean out my stroller if I am going to leave it somewhere.

I'm sorry. :sad2: That really sucks.

That is my worst baby gear nightmare come true!!! I know we should bring a nothing cheapie but my kids comfort plays on my stroller choices.

What Mac did you have taken?

I've never taken our KS one but have taken our Mod Quest it was never touched. We are only taking one strolller next trip since we are flying typically i bring a spare if we drive but if our double walks away i may lose it.

I bought the Kolcraft stroller at the store inside Pop Century in September of 2006. We had forgotten ours, as we didn't normally use one with our then 4 and 1/2 year old. At that time it was $40, which was a lot cheaper than renting one! I will say it is poorly constructed and not worth $40 bucks. The cup holder gets stuck on stuff because it sticks out too far and the canopy was bent- we just took it off. It does recline. It is also really woobly. We used it for the trip and took it back the next year again. It is barely hanging together!

May I ask what kind of items you had in your stroller? I need to know what is important to take out of mine. I bought all kinds of accessories for it like a full rain cover, the rayshade and extra storage bags and cupholders. Should I be concerned about those?

It's a sad world when we have to worry about a darned stroller being taken!

Dang! That sucks about your stroller being stolen. I was always worried about that, because I left things in there too when we went on rides and such... It was relocated a couple times...and once, I did walk away with someone elses before I realized it wasn't ours...lol... But..I would think, if someone did that, they'd notice relatively fast...

Have you ever put a bright colored ribbon on it then you would know its yours i do this with luggage as so many the same.Inoticed a lot of people left bags on strollers i would not leave anything of value put in a locker its safer.:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

One of those Mickey Hand clip on stoller fans, a Hannah Montana hat for my daughter, Little figures that go with the Monorail set, about 8 Mickey ponchos (we were traveling with a large group), some other things I can't recall at this time. The only thing guest relations replaced was the ponchos. Everything else was at my own expense. I replaced everything except for the fan, my kids are 4 and 9 so I felt the need to get them new things. Good thing I went there without any budget. Because it would have been blown to bits.;)

I am okay about it now, at the time it was very frustrating. My DH said it was only money and everything was replaceable. I was annoyed for a few hours but we didn't let it ruin our trip at all.:)

We used a the stroller a friend brought a Disney World early this year and could not have survived without it. They had removed the sun visor before we got, but it was not a big deal for our 3 1/2 yo dd. It fold easily for the plane and buses and my dd who normally does not ride in a stroller at home, would not get out of it until we made her. We printed a sign, put it in a sheet protector and used rubberbands to attach it to the handles. That made it alot easier to find. In fact my dd could often find the stroller before my dh!
