Stroller Fan - Which one should I get

Hi. I need a stroller fan for my 8 month old son who has to wear a helmet 23 hours a day. Anyone w/ any recommendations? It has to be battery operated, of course. I saw two online - one made by Kel-Gar a pinwheel fan and another w/ larger gooseneck - don't recall the brand. Anyone have any success with a battery operated fan? I will be using the Maclaren Twin Traveller stroller so will have to clamp fan to the side of stroller.

Just a bump!!! I would love to replace or fan. It is so old and missing blades. I can't find them anywhere around here any more.

Have you tried One step ahead . I ordered it online and it worked great. I got the gooseneck type with soft blades.

We used the black and decker snake fan and it was terrific.

Hi,

We used a stroller fan we ordered from One Step Ahead
but it looks like they do not carry it any more as the price is 0.00.
Here is a picture of us at MK and the fan hanging on the WDW stroller.
Here is another link to the same fan at another site. It worked for us. Just
make sure you take a small screwdriver with you to change the batteries.

We have a '03 Maclaren Vogue and we found it difficult for anything to stay put on the rails. You don't want to get something that would clamp down too tight and possibly damage the rails. The double might have a little more to grab.

Our DS had to wear the DOC band for nearly 3 months. He sweated like crazy in it. His helmet was nearly full like a football helmet tho. I hope you find something that works.

they have this liner to wear under a hard hat to keep cool - I wonder if this would work for your ds?

No, the liner would not work. I can't put anything between his skin and the helmet- it would affect the pressure points. Good idea though. I can't find the black and decker snake fan so guess I will order the pinwheel fan and hope for the best. Kristen

I looked around and found this one: Gooseneck "clamp anywhere" battery-operated fan

and this is a long shot - might be too heavy for the stroller canopy - but I thought I would just mention it because it *might* work: Coleman Tent Fan Anyway, I thought it was an interesting idea.
