Does anyone have experience renting a stroller that lays flat for a 3 month old? We will have a rental car from Avis at MCO and I know they rent car seats also, but I've never used one from Avis. Should I trust it? Maybe the stroller rental company would also have infant car seats?

We used to buy a seat for our children even as babies & used our own the car seats on the plane and then used our own in the rental cars, we'd bring our own strollers too when they were very little. We'd put the baby next to the window & sit in the middle. Always got priority boarding to be able to strap the seat in. I always felt safer with the baby in the car seat when there was turbulence.

Same here. I cringe when I see "lap babies" on planes. They make you stow all your bags for takeoff and landing so they don't get bounced around the cabin and hurt someone - but you aren't required to strap your kid in? I don't get it.
