Stroller availability mid day

I have an 8 year old who is too old for a stroller, but is emotionally younger and I know will need a stroller at some point during the day.

We're going late February. Will there be an issue renting a Disney stroller mid-day? I just don't feel like pushing it ALL DAY LONG. We don't currently have the need for one outside the park, so I'd only be renting one for 3 days. The cost isn't an issue, I just don't feel like dealing with a stroller all day.

She's actually pretty short. About the height of a number of 6 year olds I know.

Have you considered renting a single for the time you are there from offsite? Wayyyyyy more comfortable and maneuverable than what you rent from the park! I know you said you don't want to push it around, well easy... just leave it parked up in a stroller park for the most part until you need it. As its a single, it will fold down quickly and easily and will be light. I'd much prefer that than the park ones! But I understand not everyone is a fan of that. A single city GT would be the way to go for me!

There are a lot of strollers, and they come and go all day. We rented one from Disney for the same reason you are planning, We simply did nto need one for the entire trip, and woudl not have wanted to drag in back and forth to the resort.

At 8, your child may surprise you and be fine walking. We rented a double fo rthe 6 and 8 YO when we went in August and used it at DAK. That place was hot. WE also got one at DHS and one evening at MK because of the torrential downpours that kept erupting. We coudl keep the girls covered better.

I've never had an issue getting a mid day stroller.

Thanks for all the input. I'm planning to NOT get one unless I HAVE to, forcing my daughter to walk and not be lazy. I just wanted to find out if I'd be able to find one if I needed one mid day.
