Hello Everyone,
My family and I will soon be on our WDW vacation. This will be our first trip with our 15 month old son. My son is able bodied but I have mild cerebral palsy. I do not use any mobility aids (just an AFO). Have any of you ever asked for a stroller to be designated as a "wheelchair" due to being a disabled parent of a baby / toddler? I have a difficult time carrying my son and I require a stroller to transport him around safely. My husband will be with me but we want the option to go different places if we wish. Thanks!

Hmm this might be possible. To be on the safe side since I doubt that is a really common request is you may want to go to guest services without your husband. That way they don't just make the assumption that in the places where you couldn't carry your child that he would just do it.

WE did this when DH had back issues. The stroller essentially acted as his walker. There was no issues. We just went to Guest Services and explained what we needed.

Other people have done it, as Gracie09 mentioned.
You would go to Guest Relations and explain why this is an accommodation to your needs in line related to your disability.

yes other have done this for different resin then the child needing it. just go to GR and tell them why you need a stroller as a wheel chair tag. and then enjoy your time at disney remember there is a lot more walking at disney then you do in your every day life so listen to your body and take some breaks during the day a nice slow sit down lunch can be a great break
