Stressing over name announcement

lol...I had a plan to say Captain Miguel & his mateys...and as I got to the crew member we were all like just trying to take everything in and my stepsister said just use your name just use your name and I was like what and ended saying my last name family...booooo..

but next time I'm going to say something clever..

I was worried about this too on our first cruise as we have a long complicated last name. Don't worry, we are used to people mispronouncing our name so we just went with it. They actually did a pretty good job! A Disney cruise is supposed to be stress free. So try not to sweat the small things.

This one is sooo killing me! I might do that too. Our family listens to those names. If my oldest son knows he might go as That's Mr. Chickenstrips to You! LOL

We had them say Zach and his Royal Entourage...it was funny for us...I am not sure any one else noticed...we are already thinking for our June 2012 cruise.

A few years back we cruised with DS and his family, and DBIL and his family. Somehow we got separated when boarding, DS and his gang went first, DBIL and his were next, and then a few random families. As we boarded (finally) we saw DS with his gang standing there waiting for us. And as we entered, we heard ourselves announced as "the old folks who are paying the bill for the XXX family to cruise". Even the CM was chuckling by the time he said it!

Close to the time Mr. & Mrs. Smith was released DH and I were announced on the boat as "Mr. & Mrs. Smith, without their guns". When we go as a family we are the Wade-Smith family. My sisters family is called the Van-Sisca John-Fountain family.

Good luck on finding a name that truly reflects your family unit.

We were announced as the "PDQ" group. The first letter for each last name -- 3 families.

I'm getting married in 2 months and our cruise is our honeymoon cruise. I'm a HUGE Friends fan, but FH isn't. I'm trying to convince him to go with Princess Consuela Banana Hammock and Crap Bag.

For some reason, he doesn't like this idea.

Some of my other thoughts were Princess Buttercup and Wesley. Or, the "Ballnchain" family. I want to do something with the wedding theme, since this is our honeymoon, but I'm not quite sure on one yet. Suggestions?
