Strengths

From what you have seen/read of me here on the boards what would you say are the strengths you see in me? Yesterday my counselor and I were talking about my strengths. Things that I see as basic life skills and/or simply surviving she sees as strengths in me.

I tend to be one of those people who can see the good in other people very quickly but tend to only see the bad in myself. From what I know about others I do not seem to be alone in that one.

Care to help me out? Do you want people to also tell you what strengths they see in you?

hehe You may not want to get together with me until after May, since I'm in school until then. According to my husband, I become unfun and mean while in school. hehe Did you end up taking the job at BBB? I actually haven't been there in a while, but I did talk to one of the managers the other day at my job.

I am sure you are not unfun and mean. Yes, I did take the job there. They must think I am a nut since I've missed so much time in only 2 months. Luckily they let me stay there. Which manager did you see the other day?

Oh, I talked to him on the phone about the "event" last Saturday (I don't really like to reveal where I work specifically on here-but if you've been at work much lately I think you know what I'm talking about). I work where the event was...So he called to ask set-up type questions. I think it was the younger, dark-haired man...Can't recall his name.

I don't "know" you very well, but it seems that you are always very supportive of other people, even when you're going through this rough time yourself.

Wow, thanks everyone. You have given me a new perspective on myself. Thank you for giving me some new things to look at within myself. When I am feeling down I will remember these things.

Just saw this thread!

I'm the one you just helped with the Nelson pic. So I'd have to say your strengths are your super-quick computer skills, and more importantly, your willingness to help out a stranger, and a relative "newbie" to the DIS without knowing anything about me, or expecting anything in return.

I think that says a lot about the kind of person you probably are!

I'm going to say self confidence - but I'm saying it for a weird reason. I admire your willingness to post this and fully expect answers - I see that as a good thing. If it were me I would assume no one would remember enough about me to answer or that the only people who remember me well enough would have negative things to say. The fact that you put yourself out there shows kind of an optimistic self confidence. KWIM?
