strategy for Spectromagic/Wishes

Hi, here's my question:
Where is the best spot to see Spectromagic and Wishes?
We have stood in liberty square before and that was a good spot, but I've read that Wishes is best viewed in front of the castle. Also, we are going the end of January (low crowds) so, how early would you stake out a spot?

If you want one spot, so that you don't have to move at all, I would say at the end of Main St., towards the train station. We usually move around a bit but that's when we can catch the late Spectro, if they're running two that night. We watch the fireworks and do some attractions and then watch Spectro from deep inside the park. It's nice walking out when there are not so many people around.
