Strangest xmas gift this year?

Extraordinary Chickens.:rolleyes1

Not actual chickens but a calendar of extraordinary looking chickens. My mother loves them. Apparently there are note cards too.. but I can't find them anywhere and it's killing me. She found the last box in the gift shop of the hospital she worked for years ago. They don't have them now. But trust me you get some great looks when you ask people if they have extraordinary chicken note cards.:rotfl:
At least I found the calendar. Only my mother. Gotta love her.

My DS17 asked if I can fry some hoghead cheese to eat on that morning. Yuck, just the thought of it makes me ill!!

Isn't ThinkGeek great? I see a lot of people ordering from them. I always had trouble shopping for my DH till ThinkGeek, now my trouble is cutting down on what all to buy. I have already spent $100 there this year for him.

So far nothing too unusual here. The silliest I guess is for my DD16. Also ordered from ThinkGeek, I ordered her the plush sushi teddy bear type things. They are quite cute and she loves sushi. Like I said, not too crazy but I am surprised I spent money on such a silly thing.

I bought my DSis her very own safe! I asked her if she wanted a practical gift or a 'fun' gift(Wii game)and she said to go practical. Not sure if she remembers mentioning this fall she wanted a safe for her valuable papers!

My DS is getting a fire proof safe. He says he needs it for his important papers. It is really funny because my DS is 9 years old!:rotfl:

My 11 year old dd asked for purple walls and even included the paint chip with her Christmas list. Not sure how I'm gonna pull that off but am leaning towards putting the bucket of paint under the tree with a brush.

My soon to be 11 year old asked for paint for her room. She wants her room blue and green. I went out last night and got tons of blue and green paint chips for her to choose her colors. She will get the paint chips on Christmas and the next day we will get the colors she wants for her room.

My 17 year old will be finding a giant gummy bear on a stick under the tree this year. He will also probably be getting a big bag of regular gummy bears too.

Too funny, my son asked for one of these too and I thought he was joking but he was serious. Where did you find one? He only asked for 3 things, this being one of them, so I would really like to get him one.

Thanks!
Carmel

The gummy bear came from vat19.com. I saw a commercial for it....they have some other oddball stuff there too, but that's all I wound up getting.

no problem :)

when I saw the price i was shocked..the pickle can yodel elsewhere for that cost lol

Yeah, I wasn't thrilled with the price either, but it was too perfect for me to pass up. DS and I have an inside joke and I know he'll love this.

Go-Lion DVDs Volume 1, 2, 3 that is what Mom is buying me for Christmas. I am always asking for weird items for Christmas.

my 4 yo son is getting an emergency crank powered flashlight/ radio. he LOVES both flashlights and radios, and eats batteries like you wouldn't believe. I thought the had crack power would be a perfect solution for a very active 4 year old!

My 4 year old grandson has just started to ask for an ax for Christmas :scared1:
He says "the kind that can cut down trees" :confused3 We figure he must have heard a story in school.
Anyway, my DD found a (toy) ax on Amazon that is an accessory to the Tin Man costume from the Wizard of Oz. She ordered it and will tell him Santa says you must be 18 years old to get an ax that can really cut down trees.

Im just glad he saw and spoke with Santa at the mall before he started asking for the ax. Don't know how Santa would have responded to that request.

DS5 asked Santa to bring him deodorant, "so I can be like Daddy." Santa is bring a travel size blue Axe deodorant for DS's stocking. For some reason DS loves the blue axe (that is the only soap he will use). :confused3
