I just bought an Anker 5 port charger! The best 25 bucks spent!
- a powerbar.... but not for a DCL cruise as they are forbidden. I hate getting up mid night to swap out my chargers
- a motion activated battery powered night light. I'm going to look for a light switch as I'm stubbling in a foreign room
- masking tape.... to mark my suit case, tape up one of those night lights at the corner to not bump into it
- magnet flashlight to mount to the ceiling or other ships with metal walls
Downey Wrinkle Releaser!
I've found a regular spray bottle filled with water tends to release wrinkles. I just hang up the garment, then go in the bathroom and spray the clothes down, smooth them out and hang in the closet. I usually do a day or 2 at a time and they dry in a few hours. No ironing and no need for anything but a spray bottle and some water. It just requires a little planning ahead.
I do this at home often too...spray and hang up in the bathroom and clothes is ready for work the next day!
I bring a strong magnet, a string and a mini battery operated hand held fan...I hang it from the ceiling and use it on the nights I am sea sick. Wind in the face=instantly not sea sick. I ended up loaning 2 of them out to other people on our WBPC cruise and they loved them!

Thank you. That's so sweet of you to say. The quilt is the first I made. My whole life I always gave away the things I made, painted, drew, sewed, etc. I do love to create from my heart. But the quilt I decided was mine for me. Just once I was going to keep something for myself. It sounds trivial but in a lifetime of giving all of me, keeping a piece and gifting it to myself has meaning. It is amazing how something as small as a quilt and/or a little pillow can make a room feel so at-home. Plus, naps are BEST with my quilt! LOL!Thanks for sharing the fun photo. It's a beautiful quilt, and it is great to see someone caring about giving their stateroom such a personal touch. It's this kind of positive input that makes the DCL board so nice to follow.
Hmm..., the closest I get is probably my Mickey Mouse tie and the 20 iPhone and iPad charges that I bring on each trip, expecting to lose roughly one per day.
I love what you shared. Thank you!Consideration, unselfishness, and generosity are qualities I've somehow always noticed in friends who appreciated Disney's magic as much as I do. I am not able to think of anything more valuable to give to those close to me than memories of family vacations sprinkled with a little fairy dust. But now I'll have to think of something personal to brighten up our room on our next trip.
The liquid detergent thing is genius. Definitely will consider using that on the next trip.I bring air freshener called "Nobody's Business," a small travel clock with built-in flashlight to keep on my side of the nightstand, and paper towels that I sprinkle at home with liquid dish detergent to wash out our refillable mugs each evening.
