Both my younger brothers, 20 & 23, refuse to ride Space Mountain anymore. They love thrill rides! However, they seriously believe that they are going to hit their heads during the ride! We have told them so many times that wouldn't happen, why would they make a ride where you could possibly hit your head if you are a tall person. (one is 6ft & the other 6ft 4") But no matter what they say they still won't ride it. They use to when they were younger, but no more! Just a funny thing in our family!

tell them dh is 6'7" so they should be good

LOL! These are quite good. I am a Civil War Reenactor and you can just imagine the severe lack of historical knowledge of a lot of people. "What side are you on?" I guess the blue uniform didn't give it away.
Anyway, I digress, when I was a CM at the world EONS ago, I actually never had to many stupid questions, but I loved getting people to believe EPCOT stood for;

And how do you get a bus from MK to the TTC? : Last I checked the options were the ferry or the monorail.

I was once in the store at the exit to the Maelstrom in Norway and this man and his son (about 8-10) were trying on the viking hats. The man then grabbed one of the hats with braids (for viking women) and explained to his son that this was the hat that the strongest, most fearsome viking would wear. At that point the mother came over and tried to convince the son otherwise, but he was already eyeing the braided hat.

A few hours later I was over in France and saw the little boy walk by in one of the braided viking hats At least the mom tried....

Although not too far fetched, vikings did grow and wear their hair long... Honestly, the HORNS are more inaccurate!

! Well we went to RnR and he was like: "Does it go upside down?" and we played it off bc otherwise he would have NEVER gone on it.!

My worst one is so much like this! My son (7 at the time) had started to like roller coasters, but only like medium sized ones. So he wasn't sure about RnR... He asked, in line, if it went upside down, because he would not want to go on it. I never ever lie to my kids, and I would not have made him go on any ride he was not comfortable on.....
Welll, I must have had a brain lapse, because I assured him, again, and again, and again, that it did not. I seriously did not recall that it went upside down!!!
The people in the line must have thought I was the meanest lying mother ever!!!!
(didn't turn out so bad, he actually liked it after all! in fact, it's one of his fave rides now!)

On the boat From WL to the MK a woman was talking to her (adult) daughter about there plans for their trip. She said "we'll take the bus from MK to Epcot".... I stepped in and said that there was no bus from any park to any park.... She corrected me saying "no no no,WE bought the special park hopper pass that allows us to go FROM one park TO another on Disney transportaion....."


um......

That is too funny. I can't belive she thought the Park Hopper was a bus pass.

We were waiting for the monorail one day and it had been raining and humid. A dad with his DD asleep in a stroller were waiting next to us. His DD had clearly been to BBB earlier that day... much earlier, by the look of things. Her hairdo had not held up well... especially with the weather. Her dad kept trying, in vain, to smooth down her hair.... it was wild looking! I smiled at him and he looked me dead in the eye, and said (totally deadpan), "My daughter looks like Phyliss Diller." I started laughing so hard! I still laugh when I think about the defeated look on his face as he said this!

DH and I were exiting Space Mountain just ahead of a boy who was about 6 or 7, and his dad. The kid was incredibly wound-up by the ride, and while rambling enthusiastically about how awesome it was, he said to his dad:

"This was so much better without Mommy!"

DH and I died laughing.

In Brazil, they speak Portuguese - a dialect, true, but still Portuguese. If the group was on the other side of a wall, with no visual cues to tell him that the group was Brazilian, it is quite possible that the guy thought they were from Portugal, and Portugal is in Europe. Not so stupid, IMO.

Unbelievably rude and inappropriate - yes. Stupid - not necessarily.

Trust me, this idiot would not be able to tell you that they were chanting in Portuguese.

My 8yods on our 9th day of a 10 day vacation: "Mom, I'm too tired for any more fun." He and I hung out at the resort that day.

While on a trip with extended family, we used walkie-talkies to communicate with each other in the park. DH and I got on TOT and he inadvertantly left his walkie-talkie open, much to the hilarity of my niece (and a few strangers) waiting for us on the walkway in front. My niece said the screams weren't so bad - it was DH's moaning that left her breathless with laughter.

Family of 4, walking by soarin'. Mom says to DD: "I ain't doin' this, it looks stupid." DD says, "Yeah, I don't want to either" Dad and Brother shrug, the little boy starts to say something and Mom says, "**** it, it's anonymous, we ain't going on.

While shopping at DTD there was a display of Woody dolls. This woman went on and on about the dolls. Everything she said could be taken the "wrong" way. "look at all the Woodys", " look how big that woody is". Things like that. Immature yes, but it was hysterical.

Heard Tuesday evening in Epcot near Mouse Gear. A guy talking to his female companion:

"I want to go to the pub in Great Britain but there isn't anyone big enough to carry us there."

I seriously lol'ed.
