Lets all post strange but true facts!!
Ill go first. Starwars spoofs

1.In the MMORPG World of Warcraft, there is a raptor named Obi just off the path leading from Un'Goro crater into Silithus. He is level one, making him Obi (1).

2.In Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, the film starts at a Shanghai club named Obi Wan.

3.The name C-3PO comes from Lucas' hometown map. The post office was located in grid C-3.

4.Actor Anthony Daniels said that he often was ignored by other actors when he was wearing the C-3PO costume in the filming set, seemingly that they actually forgot that he was not a machine, but a real person.

5.C-3PO and R2-D2 are the only characters, along with Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, to live through all six movies (If you don't include Force ghosts).

6.On MADtv, there was a Star Wars joke about a new character, Aunt Jarjarmima, a spoof of Jar Jar and Aunt Jemima.

7.Darth Maul blinks just after Obi-Wan Kenobi cuts him in two with his lightsaber. This is the only time he blinks throughout the whole movie.

8.Qui-Gon appears only in The Phantom Menace. His voice can be heard in Attack of the Clones while Yoda is meditating. George Lucas planned to have Qui-Gon appear as a Force ghost in Revenge of the Sith, similar to how Obi-Wan appeared in The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi but the idea was shelved, because Neeson was unable to reprise his role as Qui-Gon due to a broken leg; he is briefly mentioned at the end of the film and he is seen conversing with Yoda in the novelization.

Did you read that in a planner by a chance?

Movie Mess-Ups:
Here's some Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory ones to start off:

In the TV room, when Mike Teevee says "lights, camera, action!" The camera operating Oompa loompa puts on his goggles, then a couple of seconds later it shows the same oompa loompa putting on his goggles again with a surprised look on his face.

When the visitors first get onto the Wonka-mobile before they go through the Wonkawash... There is a fancy design on the back wheel cover. Notice that after going through the wash, the design disappears! It reappears in the next shot.

When Willy first enters the main candy room and sings his song, "If you want to view Paradise" He pierces and picks up a large "mushroom" with his cane, but when you view it you can see that the styrofoam mushroom has been pierced several times (about six or seven) before this particular scene was shot.

Here is one that should be number one on this list. It's the most evident mistake in the whole movie! Yup, you know the one, in the Fizzy Lifting Drinks room! Notice that you can see the harness strings and you can see where Charlie's pants bunch up from the harness in several places.

Credit goes to http://www.borg.com/~superman/mm.html for this set.

Also, POTC: Dead Man's Chest got the most mistakes for 2006. Over 150. Check out http://www.moviemistakes.com/film5459 for a list of all of them.
