Hi again.

Have any of you been to Storyteller's for a Character Breakfast on a weekday (like a Wed.) lately and remember how long you were there before moving on?

Thanks-- I'm trying to plan this around an early enough (opening?) entry for DCA.

On that note, can I use the GCH entrance to DCA right at park opening if I'm a DLR guest?

Thanks again for any help/ experiences! ;)

When we booked there they told us it is 90 minute sittings only.

The GCH entrance is for GCH guests only right at opening. Later in the day, the CMs don't check to see if you truly are GCH guests.

This is not true. Anyone staying at any of the Disneyland Resort hotels can use the GCH entrance into DCA. You will most likely have to show your resort hotel charging slip to use the entrance, especially in the mornings. Sometimes in the afternoons, the CMs don't ask to see a charge slip, but othertimes they do.

I have also been told that if you show a dining receipt from any of the GCH restaurants that they will let you into the park through the GCH private entrance. We will be doing this in November after eating breakfast at Storyteller's.

This is true. We go thru the entrance every time. Just save your receipt. As for how long it takes to have breakfast there, we usually take about an hour.
Enjoy, it is our very favorite breakfast anywhere, and we'll be eating it in eight days!!!!!:woohoo:

Sorry, my bad. We are always asked if we are staying at the GCH and we just show our room key. They have never asked DLR in general, but thanks for the info!!!

Does the key trick work, then? Should I say "Nope-- we're at the [insert other DLR hotel name here]; here's my receipt" instead?

:confused3

Just tell them you just ate and Storyteller's and show the receipt. You shouldn't have any problem.
