Question for anyone that has been to the Sortybook Princess breakfast in EPCOT-

We are taking DD8 and her friend to WDW in late March and are going to try for breakfast at Cindy's but are interested in the Storybook breakfast at EPCOT also. Which princesses are usually at the Storybook vs. Cindy's? Is the food better at one than the other?

The girls do not know that we have talked to the friend's parents and she is joining us. We are going to surprise them about a week before the trip. This will be DD's 3rd trip to WDW but her friend's first. We have never done the princess breakfast and really want to do something special for them.

We did the Storybook Princess breakfast in August and had a nice time. The food, other than the eggs which were hard scrambled (ugh) was really good, they had a nice selection, and the presentation was nice. Service was great, and the restaurant really lends itself to that medeval castle feel!

As for the princesses, we saw Snow White, Belle, Mary Poppins, Aurora (Sleeping Beauty), and Jasmine. I have been told that Mulan, Alice in Wonderland and Pocohontas have also been known to make appearences. You won't ever see Cinderella, though, as it would be rude of her to leave her guests at her castle!

Thanks eeyore0062!

We probably try for both but I don't think the girls will be disappointed if we don't get Cindy's.

Cinderella was at the Princess Storybook Breakfast in Norway on Christmas Eve Day!! We we're shocked to see her...don't know if this was a special holiday appearance or something that happens regularly.

If you don't get Cindy's for breakfast, maybe you could head to the new Cinderella's Feast for dinner at 1900 Park Fare.

We saw Mary Poppins (have never thought of her as a princess, although she was very nice), Belle, Snow White and Jasmine. The princesses were all very nice but the food was only so-so. We paid for the interaction anyways so it was ok that we left hungry. We couldn't have paid enough for the smile on our daughter's face!!!!

Thanks everyone. We booked the Storybook Princess breakfast last night as well as lunch at H&V for later in the week. Will have to wait until next week to try for Cindy's. Anyway, what kind of food is usually served at the Storybook breakfast? DD8 is a relatively light eater so I don't expect her to eat much anyway. We also booked the ice cream social for that afternoon.

We went to both breakfasts in Dec. PSB had Snow White, Jasmine, Mulan, Belle and Aurora the day we went. CRT had Mary Poppins, Snow White, Belle, Aurora and Cinderella, of course. The Fairy Godmother was in the lobby at the castle.

Character interaction at PSB was great, with the exception of Aurora - my girls called her Makeup Barbie. The Snow White, Jasmine and Mulan were awesome, and amazingly in character. The characters at CRT were good also, the Belle was even better than at PSB, but it was a repeat of 3 out of 5 princesses!

I have heard mixed reviews about the food at PSB, but both food and service were fine the day we went. You arrive at the table, where a lazy susan with assorted breads and pastries, as well as a plate of fruit (pretty skimpy, a few slices of melon and 3 strawberries for 5 people) are waiting. Coffee and juice are poured, and any special requests can be made to your waiter at this time. We should have requested more fruit, but the waiter was already back with the large skillet breakfast, so we decided to wait to see if we really wanted more. The eggs were fine - typical breakfast buffet style scrambled, the potato casserole was delicious, and there was plenty of bacon and sausage to accompany the food. Everything was hot and tasty. I didn't try the french toast sticks, but my girls, 6, 12, and 13 seemed to enjoy them. My youngest is a bacon fanatic, so she asked for more bacon, and he brought us out a brand new full skillet!

CRT was fine, but we preferred the PSB. CRT's eggs were not cooked enough for my taste. The yogurt and fruit at CRT were delicious, however, and the stuffed french toast was very tasty, but filling! The waiter at CRT also brought Sarah some more bacon (This is a theme for us at meals - she is little, about 45 lbs, but she eats like a truck driver!) He brought her a large plate filled with about 20 slices! The tables are packed in tightly as this is a small restaurant, so the characters didn't have much room to move around in.
