We are lucky enough to be staying at the Yacht Club for my 40th Birthday Presidents Week in Feb 2008. We have not stayed here before , but Stormalong Bay was a huge reason for us choosing this resort.I have girls DD13 and DD8, they love to swim.

Could anyone give me and idea of opening times for SAB at this time of year?
(We have a few off site days that week at Seaworld and Universal and IOA were it is not possible to pop back to hotel for a swim) So we were hoping to go swimming early and return later.
Also someone mentioned about movies being shown at night on the beach,at BC/YC resorts, any other information on this??

Thanx :goodvibes

If I remember correctly, the opening time doesn't change throughout the year. It always opens at 10am. The closing time does change and can be anywhere from 6pm until 10pm.

I want to think that during the peak of the summer season (July 4th), SAB opens at 9:00 am, but that's not the norm. I agree during most of the year (including all of the winter months) it opens at 10:00 am. :goodvibes

It will close before dark because it's just too hard to see people when it's dark outside. And they close the entry points to the pool so you can't swim when it's closed.
