Stormalong Bay Questions!

Hello!

This December will be our first stay at the YC, and I had some questions about Stormalong Bay.

1) I'm not very familiar with the YC, so what is the best way to get to the pool from your room? (I guess I'm trying to avoid heading through the lobby in my bathing suit! )

2) Are you allowed in the lazy river WITHOUT a tube?

3) Is the lazy river something we'll want to be doing in December? Or will it be a little too cool?

4) Are you allowed to bring your own tube? (I've heard clear only?) Are you allowed to bring pool noodles?

5) What are the current rental rates for tubes?

Hi,

1) You have to head through the lobby in your bathing suit...

2) There really is no "lazy river" like there is at TL/BB. It's a relatively small area that has currents.

3) Weather in December is completely unpredictable. You could have warm days with cool mornings, or you could have mronings near freezing with afternoons in the 40s or low 50s.

I'm sorry but I don't know the answers to 4 & 5.

I don't know the answers to 4 or 5 either, but as for 1, depending on where room is you can take one of the side stairwells that take you outside, there's also one that leads inside between the Yacht Club Galley and the Yachtsmans Steakhouse, which is right by the pool. Hope this helps

We just got back from the Beach Club today.

2) yes

4) yes, yes. We saw people using both.

5) Rates for tubes(they had single and double) were $3 per hour or $10 per day.
