What is your experience with having to show resort ID's and getting into SAB? I know that last time we stayed at the BC we only showed mine and my husband's ID's, not the kids. But that was a couple of years ago. Will I now have to keep up with everyone's ID to show them (have small children), or will one or two room keys do the trick? Thanks for the info.:)

We stayed at the YC in October. They checked IDs and wanted to see everybody's. Then they put a little arm band on you.

Thanks for that lightning speed answer!;) At least I'll only have to show them once a day if we all get arm bands.

When we stayed there a couple of years ago, we just walked right in and swam in SAB!

they were doing the wristband thing innovember when we were at the bc too.

We stayed at the BC two weeks ago and they checked id's and gave us all (adults & kids) wristbands at SAB.

Last July, they checked our ID's each and every time for all of us. This has been the norm on each of our visits to WDW and SAB. They would stamp our hands, and the ink would eventually come off in the water.

If they are now issuing wristbands, that is great!! They will know at a glance who belongs, and who doesn't, and it eliminates having to fumble for your ID's whenever you enter. Also hopefully eliminating those who don't have priviledges to use SAB!:):D:)

For those of you who were there recently: was the pool crowded? When we were there last July it was packed...could never find a chair.

Thanks, Lisa

We came back from the yacht club this past week - it seemed like the pool was fairly full but there were lots of available chairs - none of that towel-holding stuff.

What I didn't like about SAB - although I undersand why it's done - is that when it closes at 10, it really closes. You can't go into it after the life guards leave like you can with the other resort main pools (there were folks in the main pool at CBR way after midnight). My daughter and I left and went to the quiet pool at the Beach Club and when we walked back through SAB around 11, there were still guards walking around, patrolling the area.
