Stores open on Thanksgiving near WDW

We'll be flying into Orlando on Thanksgiving. Are any stores on the way to WDW open for our stop to get water/supplies? I think Target is closed. What else is on the way?

I know wal-mart does not close for Thanksgiving but not sure of the location closest to WDW.

Most grocery stores are open for at least part of the day. Actually Thanksgiving morning can be crazy in the morning with all the last minute forgotten items for the big dinner. Also, most grocery stores sell those ready made Thanksgiving dinners that people just pick up on the day.

We'll be landing around noon and heading to Wilderness Lodge. Any hints for the closest Walmart or grocery store? Just need basics for the room since we'll be eating dinner at WCC!

Drugs stores like Walgreens will be open.
If you need a Walmart try the one not far from DTD. The directions are:

Take Hotel Plaza Blvd - AKA the road in front of DTD- to 535. Make a left on 535 and be sure to stay in the outside lane. At the first traffic light make a right onto Palm Parkway. Go straight on Palm Parkway and the road will change names to Turkey Lake road stay on Turkey Lake. Walmart is about 6 miles from 535/Palm Parkway intersection. It is a brand new Walmart on the left side of the road and its a 24hours store.

I agree with the PP. Hess mini-mart has competitive pricing on water, soda and "fun food"

I second this location. It's on the way from the airport. We've gone to this one for the past year or so.
