Hi

I've decided to stay in either the Courtyard at Vista Centre or the one at Marriott Village. I'm concerned about having a places to walk to like fast food or convenience stores in case we get the muchies at night. Are either one of these in an area like this? I tried to use map tools and got no where.

If you want to suggest a better hotel/area, that's fine too. :) Hotels under $200 a night is what I'm looking for.

Thanks

I'm fairly certain that the Marriott Village complex contains a food court and has restaurants within walking distance. The Courtyard at Vista Centre is very close to a lot of restaurants and shopping centers. It's maybe 300 yards from the Goodings supermarket which is opposite the entrance to Hotel Plaza Blvd, and there are a bunch of restaurants in between for every budget -- McDonalds, Taco Bell, Olive Garden, Miami Subs, etc. I think there's also a Winn Dixie close by.

If you want some more info on either of these properties, you might try browsing the reviews/links at tripadvisor.com. In the meantime, we're partial to Marriott properties, as we find them generally well-maintained and consistent. That being said, you might be able to stay "on property", within your budget, and within walking distance to the restaurants I mentioned and Downtown Disney if you check out the rates on Hotel Plaza Blvd. There are about a half-dozen decent hotels on that short strip, and most of them should offer accommodations at the $200 range or under on most days of the year.

Good luck!
