Store Carry On Bag at MK and go to airport from there?

HiI I have a quick trip planned with a late afternoon flight. I'm staying at a Disney Springs hotel and would like to maximize my park time at MK that morning.

Has anyone ever stored their carry on bag at MK in a locker and gone directly from park to airport? (I know that I'll have to get an Uber/Lyft from the Ticket and Transportation Center)

It may be a little bit of a hassle getting in the park with the bag with security, but it would save me so much time getting back and forth between the TTC and Disney Springs, etc...

Only MK and EP have Jumbo lockers - and they may or may not hold your carry-on.

Never done this personally - but I did watch someone struggle with getting their stuff in one day.

These jumbo size ones used to be outside the park entrance - but I'm not sure about that anymore - so hopefully someone else has better info to share!

You may also want to look into travelling with luggage on Disney transportation. I know it's not allowed on the buses. You may also not be allowed to bring it into the park to put it into a locker as I'm guessing it will be a carry-on suitcase with wheels?

Instead of a suitcase I used a large backpack for my carryon and another large one with my camera equipment. I used Disney busses to AK and stored my backpacks in the lockers with no problem.

This post on touring plans show pictures of 10-year-olds fitting into the Epcot jumbo sized lockers, which I suspect are similar sized to the MK jumbo lockers. You can take a look and make your own judgement on whether your carry-on bag will fit! Good luck.

Thanks! Looking like it won't work because my bag is wheeled. I could bring a tote, but it might be more trouble than it's worth.

Just FYI, note the disclaimer at the top of that article about some of it being outdated. Those really big lockers that the kids are in are no longer there, they took them out a few years ago.

My husband did a few years ago (not sure if anything has changed) security searched his bag and computer bag and he locked everything up in a locker. Took an uber from the Contemporary to the airport. We were camping at FW and he got called to a meeting on our MK day. Security seemed to be fine with it.
