Three Things...Gratitude Thread

Good Morning again!

#1 - SWIFFER DUSTERS - Greatest invention ever in regards to dusting!

#2 - CLOTH DIAPERS FOR DUSTING - My mom used cloth diapers with pledge and now I do too. They are soft, so they won’t scratch. They are thick, so when so spray pledge on them it doesn’t soak through. They really are great.

#3 - DRINK CART FOR SODAS & WATER - I don’t have tons of cabinet space since my kitchen shares space with my dining room, so taking up cabinet space with soda & water is not an option. I bought the below drink cart to organize drinks and it’s worked out great. I bought it at IKEA.

Swiffer products are very handy dear Slo. I also love your drink cart. My Dad snd I use a milk crate for extra bottles of Aquafina. A cart would work a ton better. God willing, when I am home and back to normal we will look into one, thanks.

Slider bags and zippered pencil cases both provide great storage and help with organization too.

Small plastic boxes with latch handles are great for a variety of supplies from Christmas cards to card games.

Happy Saturday hugs to all.

The drink cart is awesome, @slo; is it this one? We don't have an IKEA so I'd have to figure out how to order/have it shipped, but it looks pretty decent, and affordable. Right now, we have boxes and racks of drinks just sitting on the floor in the front room!

Cleaning/organizing...
I'm not big on either of these, which my house attests to if you take a look around! However, I'll play...

I like the 2 or 3 packs of basket-bins at Dollar Tree. I'm not really sure what they are called, but I put them in the larger drawers in the kitchen so things stay semi-organized instead of in a big mish-mash (aka, the junk drawer?). Sometimes I have more of these organizers than I have stuff to put in them, but usually they manage to fill up. I need to de-clutter... (and I just made myself sad, as a fellow DISer was Clutter, who became an IRL friend who died at her desk at home, 4 years ago, just before she was to retire here in Maine... )

The Butler, which is a dust pan and brush/broom, each on a long handle so I don't have to bend over to sweep up stuff. I know, lazy, but easier on my back.

I like Bona for our hardwood floors. I also like the whole system- no heavy mop to push around or wring, just mop and rinse out the pad each time. I feel like this is "cleaner" than traditional floor mops.

Baskets 🧺- I like organizing with baskets but they all have to be the same I think the closet looks better when everything’s in the same type of container

Tupperware I’m old school I love Tupperware when they came out with that modular mates organization system I bought tons of it and I still haven’t and I still use it and I still think it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread 🤣🤣 and if I see some at the antique mall or garage sale I pick it up to add to my collection because I used it in the pantry I use it in my closet I use it everywhere

Shelf units - I love these things like a wall of those in the garage organize and stack your things on I don’t use baskets I use bins

Cleaning Products - I have a wide arsenal of things that I use but one of the best products dawn dish soap another one is peroxide between the two of them you can clean just about anything the third one white vinegar and the final one Pine-Sol bugs hate it

So come summer November 1st I will be selling upscale garage sale items....at a vendor market and a farmers market... though there are no local truck/farmers who bring produce from their toil and planting... instead they buy wholesale and then bring to the 2 market......SO ..........

I organize my wares using colorful boxes like these gather from Kroger produce section.... they give my offerings a fun vibe, they fit in the crew cab of the truck and easy to pack at the end of the day...... plus assorted wood crates for February citrus 🍋 🍋 🍋 season
