LOL, if the baby is tired they will sleep. I don't keep it quite for mine and they sleep anywhere and with noise and light on. I even vaccum in thier room at 11 pm with lights on and it never wakes them.

I think letting your son stop mowing for 1 hour was more than generous. I would never have asked my neighbors to stop their normal, everyday life (or put it on hold), just because my children were napping.

Was The Catherine Tate show broadcast in the U.S.?

She's so funny. I love the character too who's in the relationship with the guy on death row. When asked if she minds that he murdered loads of people and, um, canibalised their remains, she says 'well we all make mistakes'.

Oh no the sense of entitlement is not limited to just you Americans. Lol! It's pretty universal these days (or at least through the western world)!!

The show was on BBC America for a while, but I don't think we got to see all the seasons.

Oh yes, I loved that character too! Didn't she also end up dating an Indian man after he was executed? LOL

I must have been raised wrong (I'll be sure to let my parents know ) because I honestly love it when I can take a quick nap in the middle of the day with the window open and the neighborhood lawn mower brigade out in force -- there's something about it that just says summer to me. That poor woman's baby will never be able to enjoy that kind of nap.
