Say it isn't so. You can come but you have to promise you will come again when I will be home so we can have a meet. Then you can really come stay at my house and it would be muich cheaper. The drive is 45 minutes from my house. Where are you staying? and what shows are you going to see?

We bought the gold package at Grand Country Inn. We've stayed there before with the same package. Part of the package is tickets to any of their shows so those are probably the only ones we are going to see. We will also spend a day at Silver Dollar City (tickets included in package). The Christmas season has already started so we will be able to see the lighting of the tree and the other Christmas lights.

Then we are checking out of the Grand Country and finding cheaper lodging for Saturday night. I don't want to spend $100.00 a night when I know there's something cheaper right there on the strip. Do you know any good cheap places to stay?

Saturday, we'll go to The Amish Store and just piddle around. Probably go to the Titanic museum thing.

I love the Titanic museum. Hope you get the card that says you live. I've only died there. My brother is having his Christmas Party Sat. night you could come to their house. They would never notice a few more. They ususally have over 100. I'm still bummed we won't be home.

Glad you get off at noon tho. We are leaving early that morning to make the 9 hour drive.

I've decided not to work anymore today. We have 2 more patients to see and I'm done. Love the photopass pics. Lacey and Simba are precious. She is so funny. I saw your knees.

We get nuts in our office all the time. So far no one has had a gun but we have called 911 a few times. Of course our police don't get in a rush. Had to call an ambulance one day and it took them 30 minutes. The hospital is 5 blocks away.

First, I LOVE the photopass pictures . Second, I hope the idiots don't come back. I worry about things like that all the time. People are just crazy now, and everyone seems to think they are entitled. I don't blame your boss, I could not defend someone like that either.

Lisa- I love the photopass pictures!!! That IS scary about the angry people in your office & even more scary about the woman that was killed on the same block. Stay safe & dry today.

I hope you get to do soomething for Thanksgiving. We are driving to Nashville on Wed. Aust is going with us and coming home Sunday. Sheri, Mike and Andrew are going to Austin, Tx to see Mike's folks. It is a family vacay apart. Sandi is going to try to get tickets to some sort of game and I think he will golf with Tim Sat if the weather is nice. Sandi has to work on Friday so I'm not sure what I will do. Austin will want to shop.

I give my boss the cold shoulder sometimes too and he can't stand it. All the more reason to do it more often.

I've never been to Nashville. Mama has. Lacey goes to Tennessee all the time with the mission group so Tennessee doesn't appeal to her in the least.

Sounds like fun, Ginny! I've never been to Nashville. You'll have to do a mini-TR for us.

Lisa, I just got these pics from Friday's tourney and knew you would want to see them. Austin's team is first but the second pic is of the 'jorts' and I knew John would relate.

I showed the pictures to John. He thought they were hillarious as did I! You can tell that the boys aren't afraid of making fun of themselves.

In this day and time, you can never be too safe. We have a lot of nuts that walk up and down the street in front of the office.

You just HAD to post about a Vera sale didn't you?? LOL! I'm trying to be good and work on the family's budget and now all I can think about is purses!

Scary thing at the office!! I'm glad it didn't end up being any worse. Don't feel bad about being busy at the office...I don't see how you keep up as well as you do! My school corporation automatically blocks all discussion boards/blogging sites, so I can't DIS at work. Sometimes I think that's a pain...and sometimes it's a good thing.

We wouldn't have planned the trip at all if Mama hadn't said she would go with us.

We have sooooo many deadlines coming up next week. I want to have as much as possible done so I can, hopefully, avoid a mad rush all at once. Bd thing is, I get it done ahead of time but the boss won't take the time to look at it until the last minute.

I've been to Branson numerous times. It's fun but it can get very expensive!

I was very happy with the outcome of our lunch discussion. My boss' mother cooks for the family every day at lunch and they are out of town so he needed somebody to each lunch with. Turned out to be a great one for me.

We aren't picky about our hotel. As long as it is clean, we are fine with it. Especially if it is just for one night. I'll probably go on hotels.com and see what's available. I don't care if it's a Days Inn or a Super 8 or something similar.

Isn't it funny how I don't mind spending more than $100.00 on a room when we stay at Disney but don't want to anywhere else.

We have always had fun at Branson but it's not someplace that I'd want to go and stay for more than a few days. It can get very expensive too. That's why we went with the package. I also don't want to cram too much into just a few days because Mama still gets tired fairly easily. This will be her first outing since the surgery.

I've never been to Branson or Silver Dollar City when they have the Christmas lights up. Mama has been several times with the church's small group (not to Silver Dollar City but to Branson).

I bet you are getting all excited about your trip to Nashville. I know I would be. I am a goer. John is a homebody. Takes a lot to make that boy get out of the house.

It's great that you're taking a Thanksgiving trip. We usually stay put or do a day/overnight trip for Thanksgiving, but this year we're driving to NC to spend the holidays with my sister and her husband and my parents. My Mom's 70th birthday was Sunday, and she knows we're planning something for the Saturday after Thanksgiving as a late celebration, but she hopefully has no idea it's a catered dinner for 20-some people in a historic tavern! *insert cackle of glee* I love planning special occasions.

You guys should come on up to Branson. When I talked to the people at Grand Country, they said they had a lot of packages available.

I thought lunch yesterday turned out well. It wasn't supposed to be a "business" lunch but we did decide on holiday hours.

I thought about you last night. I really did. We were looking at the Silver Dollar City brochure and the pictures of their cave. I remembered your recent trip to the caverns and your pictures.

We usually stay at home for Thanksgiving too. The last time we took a Thanksgiving trip was to Disney in 2000.

You and your family have a great surprise planned for your mother. I can't wait to hear all about her reaction. We surprised my mother for her 70th birthday too.
